HOW IT WORKS

AUTOMATIC SETUP

Hold the sensor over your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or tablet for about 15 seconds and the app will automatically setup your sensor.

24/7 MONITORING

Once setup, the sensor records a new temperature and humidity reading every minute using best-in-class, Swiss-made sensing components.

CONFIGURABLE ALERTS

Sends notifications to your mobile device when the temperature or humidity goes above and/or below your desired levels and you are within wireless range or using a tempi.fi gateway.

UNLIMITED APP HISTORY

Automatically syncs with the app when you are within wireless range or using a tempi.fi gateway. The app is only limited by the amount of space available on your mobile device. 3 years of sensor data occupies about the same amount of space as 1 song (~6 MB). The sensor stores the last 22 days of data in its internal memory.

EXPORT DATA TO CSV

The app has the ability to export the entire sensor history or parts of it in the popular CSV file format. CSV files are human readable files that can be easily shared or opened in popular software programs like Excel or Google Sheets.

CAN CONNECT DIRECTLY TO YOUR SMART PHONE

The sensor can send alerts and upload data directly to your phone when in wireless range – no accounts, passwords, Wi-Fi routers, or internet connections are required. The theoretical range is ~300ft with no obstacles. The typical range is between 60-120 ft depending on the environment (obstructions, wall material, piping, etc). In a modern 3,000 sqft home, the sensor can usually be detected in any room.

We are currently working on a Wi-Fi gateway (sold separately) that will connect your existing tempi.fi sensors to the internet using your Wi-Fi router so you can get alerts and monitor data 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
