Information Collected by VitalNomad

When you visit a VitalNomad website, we may collect information about your visit using cookies (if you allow) and website log files pursuant to common practice for commercial websites. Certain VitalNomad products and services may log information concerning your use of the product or service. For example, VitalNomad’s service that allows the monitoring of temperature and humidity data may store information about the temperature and humidity collected by your sensor(s), including the date, time when the reading took place and any alerts if the temperature or humidity goes out of range. Other information that we may collect includes what you are monitoring (if you choose to provide that information), the name of the sensor, the alert settings, which users are associated with the VitalNomad product or services, the amount of times the app is opened, and how often reports are generated.  VitalNomad may use this information to provide the service to you or improve the quality of its products and services.

Some mobile apps may require that you allow access to location services so that Bluetooth works properly in the background. VitalNomad does not use or upload any location data obtained from the Bluetooth service to any of its cloud servers. 

Other Information Used by VitalNomad

If you purchase products or services from us, we may collect payment information such as, for example, a credit card number and the credit card’s three or four digit validation code, or account information from a payment service such as PayPal.

In addition to information provided by you, VitalNomad may use publicly available information to improve its products and services.

No collection from children

Our website and products and services are not directed at children under the age of thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly request, collect, or maintain personally identifiable information from children.

Use of Your Information

VitalNomad will not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. VitalNomad may aggregate the personal information of its users into aggregated data, for example, by performing a statistical analysis of a large number of users. VitalNomad may share aggregated data with third parties and use the aggregated data for other purposes where the personal information of any individual user cannot be determined from the aggregated data.

VitalNomad stores and processes its data in a secure facility and takes measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized or unintended access. Nonetheless, you agree to assume the risk for any and all unauthorized or unintended access to your personal information. VitalNomad will not be liable for any unauthorized or unintended access to your personal information.

California Privacy Rights

Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of personal customer information that we share with our affiliates or other third parties for marketing purposes, as well as the names and addresses of such affiliates or other third parties. We are located in the United States

If you are located outside of the United States while accessing the VitalNomad website or VitalNomad’s products and services, please be advised that your information will be transmitted into the United States and other countries. You consent to this transfer and represent to us that you have the right to disseminate your information outside of the country where you are located.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

VitalNomad may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and each version of this Privacy Policy will include the date the policy becomes effective. The most current version of VitalNomad’s Privacy Policy will appear on this website.
